Price - Hostel prices in Bangkok can be as low as €3 per night for a bed in a dorm. But hostels are normally located far away from anything and you get bad service. That said some of the super cheap hostels can be good but you will be in a large dorm. Expect to pay €8 to €12 per night in a middle-sized dorm that’s in a good location.

Location - Many Hostels are located in key areas such as Khao San Road, Sukhumvit, and Chinatown, giving easy access to Bangkok’s top attractions, street food markets, and public transport. The Sukhumvit area has the added advantage as it's close to the Skytrain.

Amenities/Services - Every hostel offers free Wi-Fi but no hostels offer a free breakfast. If you want more specific services be sure to do your research to find the hostel that best meets your needs.

Staff - The majority of hostels in Bangkok have great staff and all the receptionists speak a decent level of English.
